In the Wig and Quill pub on June 28th 2012 two friends formed ‘BottleRocketFilm’ to produce films that dealt with political or social themes that were also engaging, accessible and entertaining.

 

Shortly after its conception Mike Peel joined the crew and the threesome won the BeComedy Lab 2012 with their pitch for ‘Embracing Kim’. Currently they are working on another feature length documentary film ‘Chasing Chuck’ and providing video content for the RSPH (Royal Society for Public Heath).

 

In fiction filmmaking the trio have produced numerous short films and are involved in shooting another ambitious short film in early 2015The Iris Echo.
