Writer & Director
After graduating from the University of Southampton with a 2:1 in Film Studies, Ted drifted around working in sports development. However, after deciding at the end of 2012 to quit his job, he started writing and producing films full time. He has already found some success working as a writer on an ambitious webseries with independent producer Nick Agha, who is writing a feature film about the financial collapse and developing a pilot for a television drama series.
Ted is also taking short courses at the National Film and Television School on screenwriting and producing, working with mentors such as Col Spector (‘Someone Else’, ‘Honeymooner’) and Peter Ansorge ('Traffik', 'A Very British Coup', 'The Politician's Wife'). As a director, his short film ‘Interior Design’ about a student coming to terms with his mental illness won him the “Audience Choice award” at the first University of Southampton film festival.
